This Summer The Salvation Army of Big Rapids, in partnership with United Way and community supporters, provided youth and teens with free summer camp opportunites. 110 campers from Mecosta, Osceola, Lake and Newaygo counties attended a myriad of camps including youth sports, S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), outdoor camps and music camp. All camps took place at Salvation Army owned and operated Little Pine Island Camp in Comstock Park, MI. This is the largest group of campers to attend from the Big Rapids Corps in it's 20 years of service.

A special thank you goes out to the United Way of Mecosta and Osceola County as well was those that support The Salvation Army throughout the year. The campers all had an amazing experience and are looking forward to attending camp in the future.
