Big Rapids, MI July 00, 2017– Envoys Ed and Theresa Hoskins recently assumed leadership roles at the Salvation Army Corps Community Center in Big Rapids, Michigan, replacing Lieutenants Chris and Brianne Karlin who have taken over responsibilities of the Corps Community Center in Muskegon, Michigan. The Hoskins will to continue to provide essential programs and services in Mecosta, Osceola, Lake and Newaygo Counties.
While changes in leadership at any organization can be difficult, The Salvation Army knows that with new leadership come new opportunities. The Hoskins have been involved with The Salvation Army for more than 30 years and are excited to work with the local Salvation Army Advisory Board to improve current programs and establish new ways of serving the community.
“Our goal is to be what the local community needs us to be in the Big Rapids area,” said Envoy Ed Hoskins. “We will work hard to enhance The Salvation Army’s presence in Mecosta, Osceola, Lake and Newaygo Counties,” Hoskins added.
